This does not make you gay. I would see if he is comftable in that area. Does he joke around about that stuff? If he does then you could ask him. If not then i wouldnt just ask. If the subject of j/o comes up then you can ask him. Just make sure it dosent wreck your friendship.

It doesn't make you gay because curiosity is a natural thing. Asking for advice on how to compare/experiment is against the rules though, I think.
