From my limited computer knowledge im quite sure there most be something going on here i dont know http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIBOX-ZETA-9-AMD-BULLDOZER-FX-4100-QUAD-CORE-16GB-RAM-2TB-HD-DESKTOP-PC-COMPUTER-/220893957967?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item336e4e4f4f
For that price it cant be true, a tower like that should cost about £1000, just curious because i was thinking of getting it but on ebay with a too good to be true idea is normally a bad thing.
Opinions on the specs for a decent gaming computer?

Well, the seller has a decent rating, but a rule of thumb with eBay- always contact the seller before buying. It does seem a very good deal, so be careful with that. It looks legitimate though.

If it seems too good to be true check the feedback the seller has and see if there have been any of them sold by the seller before. Also check the person leaving the feedback.

I'm not much of a PC gamer so I can't really be accurate with the specs so I'll leave that to someone else.

Actually, just pricing up the components that I could. The price isn't really that shocking, the CPU is £90. RAM @ 1333MHz 2x8GB is only £66 and considering the HDD wasn't specific I went for a 2TB Green WD at £131 and that's only £287. And I haven't included the casing nor Mobo, but chances are it's even cheaper to buy the components separately than buy that tower on eBay.

Even the upgrade I'm going for in January isn't £1K. (i7 2600k, [email protected], GTX 560 -- ~£640)

It's a rip off. Bulldozer is junk. Avoid it.

No. Just no. This place is amateur. I've had friends buy from them, they didn't even install the heatsink properly.

Ok so a pc like this can have issues with graf interfaces with new OS.
That was my only point but u never know it could work out well.

And Formido its not that simple many issues can arise.
PC are still not perfect and have issues unlike consoles.
The op asked advice and i gave her the advice from me and a IT expert

Unfortunately you and the 'IT Expert' are wrong.

Its pretty simple to install an OS like Windows 7. You simple insert the disc and set the boot order to the CD/DVD-ROM.

From there you follow the instructions and install. Nothing can go wrong UNLESS its a fake disc.

Anybody can install an OS.

Alright. Graf interfaces I have never heard of. Do you mean a GUI? Graphical User Interface.
Also what issues? Most graphics cards are "Plug and Play" that you can install on your own, it'll be automatically recognized and a small windows compatible driver will be automatically installed. Then you go to the website and download the appropriate drivers.

*Facepalm* Consoles don't have issues now? What about the mass arise of the red ring of death from overheating? Or the YLOD? Please. Just please stop.

Avatar. It is that simple nowadays. Seriously, windows 7 takes all of 15 minutes to install.

Rather actually have a job than just constantly be in education

you earn more learning on the job then you do spending ages in classrooms being spoonfed
