Oppression

Hi, guys. I'm new on here, and my first thing to to ask is, Has anybody felt oppression by harsh parents or whereas hanging out with dudes? Something like---everything's fine and fun, but then there comes the moment when you actually feel uncomfortable, sort of awkward, a little shy, offside because you happened to know that you don't fit in anymore... eventually feeling not very willing to do and say stuff you're supposed to, expected to, but at the same time you want to, bacause you don’t want them to think there’s something wrong with you... Anyway, I’d dealt with this unpleasant oppression, making it disappear from me quite a while ago, but somehow I’ve begun to feel it a bit yet again. Well, I’ve been straight, or it’s rather what I’ve believed. But I now fear these undead, and weird symptoms mean the contrary, which might be a serious trouble to me. I'm scared. :confused:

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about,
I feel like this sometimes,
I could be with the closets people to me,
then when they are talking about certain things,
there might be a moment where I kind of shut down,
because I felt as if I didn't belong or what not...

I kinda get what you are saying. I have felt left out some times and the center of attention in some situations. I would say its normal to have doubts about your self like that some times.

Yeah, most of the time because my friends have known eachother for ever and I just recently came into the picture. They always have inside jokes that I don't get, they always do everything together, and they always talk about things that I have no idea about... So, yeah, I know whatcha mean.

You'll learn pretty quickly that you are never alone on this site. Really, a lot more people than you'd expect will share the same thoughts as you, so no need to feel alone on here.
