I am good friends with a very kind, intelligent guy. I have a growing crush on him. We talk about everything and he loves to hear my problems and make me feel better about them. I've asked him about who he has a crush on (we're in high school), and he wouldn't tell me. He's also asked me who I like, and I wouldn't tell him.
He's dropped very obvious hints, such as touching my hands, my arms, my hair and my face. When I told him about getting rejected by a guy a few years ago, he replied, "I guess he doesn't know what he's missing."
He made it clear that he doesn't want to ask his crush out and would rather she step forward and tell him how she feels.
I don't really know what to think, because every time I think he likes me, he says something that contradicts that. Then, when I get my head around him not liking me, he can't keep his hands off me and acts very sweetly to me.
Do you think he likes me, in your opinion?
Should I just ask him out, or wait longer?
