Has anyone tried it yet(if I'm not the only openSuSE user on this whole forum)?
What do you think of it?
I installed it last night, but nVidia has yet to release their drivers for my graphics card >.>
Gnome3, IMHO, sucks. What happened to the minimise button? Now you have to right-click and then select minimise, which took me a long time to figure out.
And what happened to right-clicking on the desktop or even in windows? Or the taskbar? Where did it go?
I'm going to have to figure out how to downgrade to Gnome2....

Use KDE. I use the KDE version of 11.4, and it's great. I'm too lazy to upgrade though :P

I use Gnome 3's fall back mode(which is similar to 2) on Fedora. I hate the fact that Fedora are strict on propriety software(and have to install it manually - expect some problems). I will try Fedora 16 this weekend. Not sure about OpenSuse(it needz a dvdz!).
Take KDE, then, if you are not comfortable with Gnome 3. There is Xfce, too. But that's for slow comp.

I tried to add KDE, but Gnome3 won't show it as a session option :(

No, it's not at all like Gnome2. Gnome2 was so much more customisable.

Ever tried Debian? Even stricter! :P

No, it doesn't. You can also get a normal Live CD, or even one of those "Network Boot" CDs, which downloads all the packages from the internet or installs from DVD, if you have one.

I'm just going to downgrade back to 11.4 altogether. At least that actually works, even though it hated my network card.

Fuck'em. I want to play mp3 and flash the moment of the installation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLcfabWIj88 - changes my thoughts, but not sure if it can run on my computer as Fedora does.
I tried Ubuntu(even xubuntu and lubuntu), and it was so fucking slow on my machine.

My biggest issue with Fedora was both the software manager and SELinux, both of which hated me very much.
I'm going to reinstall 11.4, and upgrade once 12.1 becomes a stable release.
This time, though, I will give XFCE a try.
