What is your favourite music soundtrack you have heard in a Game or a Movie? Currently mine is: The Game Has Changed - Tron Legacy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DNwd6Khqg8)

The Portal 2: Songs To Test By is probably my most played of all film and video game soundtracks. :3 It's the only one I actually own as well, other than the Labyrinth soundtrack and the Twilight soundtracks (because, the films aside, they always pick some good indie tunes for the soundtracks). Otherwise, the cake goes to Labyrinth heh, but I may be biased since I grew up on it. Speaking of Labyrinth as well, I also adore the Pan's Labyrinth soundtrack. Gorgeous music.

The soundtrack of the movie Young Guns 2, written by Jon Bon Jovi, is probably one of the best albums ever written.

The sound tracks to Oblivion and Skyrim are good if you like classically inspired music. I like the Portal 2 OST, it really sums up the game well. Also, if you like more 40s and 50s music, definitely go for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. You'll find some of the most mood setting music ever on those.

Jerry Goldsmith is my favorite composer for OST's.
Alien:

The Omen:

Of course there's Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill OST's which are brilliant, some of the best dark ambient music ever made.
The Seatbelt's music for Cowboy Music is God-Tier.
MUTMw7rEsDk
Jon Brion scored Eternal Sunshine and Synecdoche New York, which were pretty good.
The guy who did the Darker Than Black OST was good and I recently listened to the Blue Exorcist OST which was so and so.
Oh fuck, almost forgot. AIR did the soundtrack to Virgin Suicides, which was just utterly fucking beautiful.

And fuck, how could I forget Ennio Morricone. Too much of him to post in this post and I'm sure he's been posted already anyhow. If he hasn't I'm sure sage will do so some day, along with Robert Rodriguez I'm sure.
