You know, I'd love to have the answer to that. But its not a straight forward one reply fits all kind of thing.
Depending on the guy, very casually work your way onto the subject, then just try and slip a vague idea of "wanking with others" into his head. Let this idea grow a bit in his head, then euther ask him or wait and sre if he asks you (id do the second, its easier and you can't break the friendship)

Try it, but do it over a period of time so it feels spontaneous.

There is not really one clear way, every person is different and will handle the scenarios differently that you put in place to try and set this up. You will never fully know how they will take it, it's completely up to the person, everyone is different, some might see it as being very weird and freak out, some might be cool with it.

Just make sure you know that there is alot of risk involved in trying to make this happen, your friend could very easily take it the wrong way, and could inevitably ruin your friendship.

Depending on how close you are with him, if you see him every weekend take it very slow, do not rush. Things like watching porn as a joke could help as that will bring up alot of conversations about that sort of stuff, skinny dipping could work if you have a pool or you are near the beach etc, do it as a dare and that could lead to something. Just don't rush it.

Take it slow, be willing to accept the fact that it might not happen though.
