Okay there is this girl at my school that I like but she is graduating this year... she is turning 18, we have flirted a lot should I take the plung and ask her out?

What age is too old?

If you have good contact and you have a good gutfeeling, then why not? ;) 4 years is a gap now, but it won't matter much later.

yea I know.. she is going to a local collage and we talk all the time.. so I don't foresee a communication issue.

Well, that proves that she's attracted to you. :)

In that case, I don't see any harm in asking. :)

I think i might ask her at this "winter ball" dance we have.. since our school doesn't allow samesex going to dances we are going together without dates.. lol

If you both like each other, then I don't see any problem with age differences. Just be aware that because you're underage and she isn't, doing things could get you two in trouble. But yeah, as long as you're aware of that and willing to take the risk I don't see any problem.

Thanks Fiction, I have thought about that too.. there are other risks her parents don't know that she is into girls... my mother doesn't mind anymore..

So there maybe backlash there.

I took the plunge - she wants to date a boy at the same time, and I am just not okay with that. So I guess we move on lol - better to have loved and lost and than never loved at all ... right?

Sorry. But your right. We learn from our experiences.

PandaLeah, you should totally ask her out. So what if her parents know, there is not a law that says you can't! And her parents can't change it. The parents should be happy for the girl if the girl is happy! And you will definitely make her happy if you ask hr out on a date! I am happy for you!
