First time making a thread in this part of the forums. Sorry if I am not conforming to the rules, however I read them over and I believe I am.

Alright. Here's my problem. I am currently doing Physical Education for this semester of school (it's required for me to graduate), and we are doing a swimming unit. The problem is I am rather insecure with my body, mainly because of my body hair. I have it on my chest and stomach area, where as no one else I know does. I have been shaving it for the past 2 months or so. My main question is when I shave, I can't get the razor to cut all the way to the skin. It all will practically be gone, but when you look closely, you can still little black hair in the skin... somewhat like stubble (except it's in the skin). I have considered buying a body hair trimmer just for this. Perhaps that would help? Anyone know how to get rid of this?

I have never used it because I dont have much hair, but nair for men might work. It gets rid of shaving.

I think you should not feel bad. Hair means manly, so its nothing to be ashamed of.

Where as it's true, I do leave some hair. Hair on the chest just isn't my look. :P Anyways, I'll look into that suggestion. Thanks :)

Well you could just do what you do and I doubt any one wool notice if your in the water and swimming.I don't think any one will see the stubles and if they do, then oh well, everyone goes threw puberty.

I remember when I was in PE there was a kid in your predicament but I think his was just due to laziness. He always had like 1/4" stubble on his chest and it was all over too so it was really noticeable. But no one will probably notice yours, unless your chest hair is so thick that it looks like 5 oclock shadow. But that's most likely not the case.

you do know that the more you shave it, the more it gets thicker and if everyone else hasn't got it it just show's your further on in puberty i know from experience :)

your getting as close a shave as you can get.. those little hairs you see in your skin that looks like stubble.. it is.. but its not out of the skin yet. a razor can only get whats on top of the skin.. cant get in it.. the only way to get rid of that without doing laser treatment or electrolysis is waxing..

you can get hair remover stuff from a drugstore. I have been told it burns when you first put it on though. It may irritate skin.
