I am wondering about the average age of chest hair development. Right now, I am almost 18. I have some hairs encircling my nipples, a light trail going down to the pubic hair, plus a ton of leg, arm, and armpit hair. My dad is moderately hairy, and I'm not sure about the men on my mom's side. Considering how much other hair I have right now, would it make sense that I will have a lot of chest and body hair someday?

I am 17 with very light hair. I am blonde so even hair I do have is hard to see... haha

But I have friends who are very hairy at 18. They think its manly.

One way to tell is how much neck hair you have. If you have a lot you will probably be hairy somewhat. Family genes have lot to do to.

When you're 18, you can really be all over. Today at school I saw someone who was most likely 18 and he wore a v-neck shirt. I'm not kidding, his chest was so hairy you couldn't even see the skin underneath and it looked like it went around his neck to his back.. So there really is no "normal" or anything, but I would say most guys have some sort of hair on their chest by 18.

Ya most people have hair on their chest but no one is per-say "Normal" For we all grow at different rates. so its normal because we cant define normal

Im 18 and I have started to get more hair on my chest. I will definitely get more, because my dad is hairy.

I'm 15 and I've got a pretty thick trail and I'm hairy everywhere except my chest which has maybe one or two on it. It's hard to say how it will all turn out, but your dad would be a good indicator.
