Need helping, texting "game"

Well i have never been a good texter. There is a girl that I am interested in and we seem to always connect well when we hang out together.

One of my friends, who has a girlfriend, seems like he is always texting this girl. I always find it difficult to find things to talk about. What type of things can I say to start conversations that doesn't make it seem like I am to attracted to her. She has a boyfriend so I don't want to be too over the top when I text her, but I like talking with her and honestly, I feel a bit jealous that my friend is always texting her and I only do on occasion.

hehe im not the bestt texter either... but i can try to help? :P ok if you guys connect in person then just talk the same way u guys normally do. i know its hard cuz its a screen... but its not THAT diffrent

just try not to be bland or use like "dead end questions" if u know what i mean. i find its real easy to end a conversation over text because u just say something that just dosnt further the conversation... and i had a friend that did the same thing!! maybe you should ask your friend for advice as well ??

Like I tell everyone else with this situation, they're still normal people, too. Just have any random subject like you would in person. Maybe for some homework help, maybe to ask about some sort of event. Just be normal and you'll stay away from seeming too into her.
