He likes someone :S, not sure if he's ready

Well my best friend is having the butterflies, and by that i mean he likes a girl. She is nice and they get along well, but im concerned about if the relationship will work out. He came out of a messy relationship (which i warned him about) and not not so sure if he is ready for something like this.

What should i do, I support it, but at the same time i don't want it to happen.

these relationship doesn't have to be as messy as that he had before, maybe it makes him feel better

He is a guy. Just be honest with him. My friends ex was a real slut. I never liked her and I told him I didn't trust her. My friend knew how I felt towards her. We were friends and he trusted me. It took some time but his eyes opened. All you can do is be his friend and don't interfere with the relationship.
