Have you ever seen PDA between two members of the same sex? In school there's a lesbian couple that are trying to hide it but seriously fail that hold hands around the school, but they say they do it "as friends."

Today I saw two guys in about their twenties holding hands and I really admired their bravery. In some places they'd be mugged for that.

Hugging doesn't quite count. Most people don't consider two guys or two girls hugging to be gay.

PDA? What does that mean? But I get the gist of it... It never happens in london except in central in the gay district, because almost all the muggers and "bad bois" are homophobes.

The lesbians at my school are always all over each other, not kissing but more than hugging.

I think I saw it once, I think two girls in their teens/early twenties kissed in a Walmart while me and my mom were in a parking lot.

But NEVER at school and NEVER anywhere with guys.

No never all the people at my school tell themselves they are bi and go out with the opposite gender then in college come out at gay or lesbian and never show PDA to the same sex. Well my gay friend did kiss me once at a train station tones of people where watching and looking confused lol... and in Brighton i have seen gay and lesbian couples holding hands and i think once making out.

my boyfriend and i hold hands when we walk to his house from our school or back from the store near my house.

also, all the teachers at our school know about us. and we've kissed in the hallways before or after class.

i did have this really funny moment in pennsylvania. my sister and i were riding in a care and we saw a couple holding hands and my sister was like "aww, how cute, a gay couple!"

turns out it was a straight couple but the girl just had really short spiky hair.
lol

I've noticed that girls do that even if they aren't lesbian.

Yeah, unless you're really narrow-minded people don't usually associate hugging between two girls or two boys to be gay.

I've seen it, but not at school, but people at my school did it at other places and me and my ex-boyfriend did it but not in front or our parents or any one we know

hmm
well
actually
ANY kind of PDA (public display of affection) at my school is illegal
and i think in town its illegal too
any where publicly its illegal and you can get cited for it
at least around me
so not many people do it (whether they are bi, straight, or gay, or lesbian, etc)

Illegal?! Are you for real?
We just get an informal talk if there's any time of PDA in our school, but I hug the gals anyway :-)

Why do lesbians tend to be more open to PDA than gay boys. Are boys more guarded and try to keep the macho masculane front up. I wish people would open up to each other and to being so imature.

Yeah, that's exactly true. Although girls are more open about everything than boys (usually) and they're more accepted because some straight guys find lesbians hot
