So, the doctor has put me on anti-depressants and I am taking them but I find they're making me feel worse. I have to go to college in 20 minutes and I'm practically hyperventilating at the thought and I feel suicidal more often. I looked at the leaflet that came with the tablets and it said that they are common side effects at first.
Does anyone know how long these awful side effects last? And how long the tablets take to start working?
Thanks

How long have you been taking the medication? It can take a few weeks for the benefits to really start kicking in, as it has to start building up in your bloodstream.
