I'm wondering how some others guys go about hooking up with girls (drunk or sober). I've only hooked up with two different girls and we were both really drunk so I'm not sure exactly how it happened. What are some of the things you say or do to make it happen with them?

Explain 'hooking up' please.
I would do it sober so I know who I am with and how I am going to do it.
Make what happen with them?

I have never had sex, so I am assuming that takes me out of being a candidate to be one who has "hooked up."

hooking up as in "making out/kissing"

oh, then I've made out with 2 different girls, not at parties, though.

I think "hooking up" is when a boy and girl date or get together only for the purpose of sex or making out and not to start a real relationship.

yeah, just making out, not starting a relationship

I suppose if you mean it as making out you just ask. Whats wrong if she says no? Dont get her drunk because if you do, and something happens, you could be charged with rape.

LOL. Yeah... alcohol is always a big factor in hooking up. There really isn't much to do, just make sure you are well groomed, as in clean and nice hair and dressed nice, all of that. Then just talk to a girl, find out her likes and dislikes. Pick-up lines don't normally work but some of them can be good conversation starters, at least to get you noticed. My friend thought of a great one not too long back, it's simply "So you want to make out?" And he NEVER expects it to work and doesn't use it on everybody. He made it up as a joke but it works to start talking a girl and then your 1/2 way there. Oh and if you do hook up, use a condom, it's just common sense.
