What are some of your favorite old movies from the 1930s through the 1960s especially?

These are the ones I have watched this year:

I have watched West Side Story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Side_Story_(film)), Splendor in the Grass (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splendor_in_the_Grass), Inside Daisy Clover, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_Daisy_Clover) A Star is Born (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Star_Is_Born_(1954_film)), All About Eve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_About_Eve), Imitation of Life (both the 1934 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imitation_of_Life_(1934_film)) and 1959 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imitation_of_Life_(1959_film)) versions), Anatomy of a Murder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatomy_of_a_Murder), I Could Go on Singing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Could_Go_On_Singing), Carmen Jones (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Jones_(film)), and Meet Me in St. Louis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meet_Me_in_St._Louis). West Side Story, A Star is Born, Inside Daisy Clover, and All About Eve are my favorites of the ones I have listed. I also watched Gone with the Wind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gone_with_the_Wind_(film)), but I did not finish it as it is quite long.

I love old movies. One of my favorite films from that time is "The Public Enemy" with James Cagney, from 1931. :D

I'm not a huge fan of musicals myself, but I agree on West Side Story. It's incredibly well made.

Gone with the Wind will always be one of the best movies ever made. Scarlett and Rhett were both very well played.

I know this thread is old, but I don't give a fuck. Close if you absolutely have to, then I'll make a new one.

I absolutely love old movies. Especially the ones between 30's - 40's. No later than yesterday I watched Dracula from 1931, I cannot tell how much I love that movie. :D
