I've been in a similar situation; I know how it feels. I broke up with a girl after almost a year of having a great relationship because I also needed space. Two or three months later she got a new boyfriend and it hit me like a brick. The reason it hurts so much is because you now realize, consciously or not, that you can't have her anymore - she's someone else's.
The best advice I can give you is to try to let go and meet new girls. You won't be alone long, bud. Best of luck

Hey, if you loved her, you won't forget her.
I'm really sorry to tell you this news, but love doesn't go away. I'm not saying that you won't eventually stop loving her, but you will remember her. Maybe just go out on a few nights with some guys, go to an under-18 club, go to the movies, mall, you get the idea. The best thing you can do is move on. FIND SOMEONE NEW. I know it sounds rude of me, but dating someone who is in college is not the best idea. Although they love just like everyone else, they have other things to do, and they have wild parties (some do) and drink and do things that they do not mean.
Good luck, man.

you broke up with her because you wanted your space.
you have your space.
she's with some other guy. no need to be that disturbed. you got what you needed, she moved on.
if you love her I guess you should let her go on. let her be happy and be happy just because she is perfectly fine. just accept the situation.
