First Relationship..

Okay, so I'm 17 now, and my friend has set me up with one of her guy friends. for starters, he's nearly 20, athletic, gorgeous, waaaay out of my league, and loads of my pretty friends think he's hot.. So, wtf is he doing with me?
See the thing is, i do like him, but i'm thinking lately he likes me waay more than i like him, why, god knows.. But I'm like, will i just give it more time to maybe progress, until i like him? :/
Aswell, i've only known him like 3 or 4 weeks, been going out one, like its moving so fast.. I'm clearly not used to this, because i'm the kinda girl at a party getting wasted and getting with different guys, and i don't know if i can be a 'girlfriend'?
I also need a way to tell my mom i'm going out with someone? i have a much older sister, so my moms been through it before like, only i'm a lot less close to my mom than my sister, so i need a way to tell her i'm with someone?

Don't let your insecurities stop you from having a good time.
Likewise, don't let things move too quickly either.
Your mother doesn't have a right to know. If you want to tell her you can but she doesn't get to find out by default.
Don't worry about other people and what they think. At the end of the day, people are more complex than the statement "I want my girlfriend to be hot and everything else doesn't matter".

Sage is right and also, no one is out of your league. Just because people may think he's more attractive and whatnot, that doesn't mean that you should continue dating him. If you don't like him, you don't like him!

I'd consider giving it another week or two and if I were to still feel that way, let it go.
