Maybe I'm asking on the wrong site, hey, it's worth a shot...
As I try to do anything that involves getting a lot of data from the internet, it just won't work. All other services, such as skype and Empathy(connecting to Google Talk) also immedietly stop working. ifconfig shows that it's dropping packets. I'm currently using NetworkManager on openSuSE 11.4(and no, ifup doesn't work either).
So if anyone knows anything about this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks :)
EDIT: All other computers on our network seem to work. And I can connect to other devices on the network just fine.

Tried resetting modem or/and router? After I download a lot, 10gb+ in one session it seems to not be able to handle it and cuts me out. Simply reset and it works again.

I doubt it because it works on all other computers on the same network.

If the packet dropping issue is localized to you, check to see if you have a bad cable (By using a cable that you know works), if issue solved, great!
If the cable wasn't the issue, then most likely you have a bad NIC.
Edit: Try changing ports on your router/switch as well. A bad port could also cause this issue.

The cable seems fine, and I don't have a spare at the moment.

It's a WiFi card that I should probably replace soon. (I wish I could get ethernet in my room, that'd be so much easier.)

Oh, you're on wireless.... That's useful information, you know. :P
What's your signal strength?

Sorry :whoops:
What's your signal strength?
2-4 out of 4 bars(it says ~72% at the lowest).

Odd, with a 72%+ signal strength, you shouldn't be dropping enough packets to notice.
What's your drop rate?

pingtest.net
useful. Helps.
If the % of dropped packets is high, NIC is screwed.

I'll check in a minute. If I'm lucky, it will actually work.

If you didn't read my first post, I said that I couldn't connect to the internet without it screwing up...
