The latter places ideal at around 6 inches. Girth is a bit more important though, because the girth ensures more stimulation of nerves on the vaginal wall. Average width of a relaxed vagina is 1 inch. So anything a bit more than that would be OK. Average depth is 3-4 inches, but during stimulation it enlarges. I don't know for sure, but I'd say it goes to maybe 5-6 inches deep. I think the maximum stretch widthwise would be maybe 3 inches wide (which is about 18 inches circumference, 2*pi*3 = 6*pi = about 18). Also depends if they've had children before. Especially if they had standard delivery, because that really stretches it out.
