A Gaming Section

I was thinking, this site would be more fun if it had games. I'm not saying that the owner has to make all of the games, but members could make some too. I have made a game for another site before. It isn't very complex, it uses link coding to link blogs, yadda yadda. It was a maze game.

Other members on that site have also made games. I do know some people who know how to create games. I could definitely see if I could get them to make games for this site. A games section would give members more to do on the site and could possibly attract more people to join the site.

Please tell me what you think.

This isn't a gaming site.
If there was a gaming section, few would use it in the sense you described.

This is predominately a help and advice site. Games aren't really needed in my opinion, not to mention who would make them? Members could but they would obviously have to be approved first which is just more work for mods/admins.

If you want games, there are plenty of forum games in the VT Arcade that are plenty amusing and the Tech Junky's Paradise is great for discussing video-games and such.

Yes, but another thing about this site beyond the help and advice factor is that people come here if they are upset about something. Games could be a good way for members to relieve stress and it would give them something that they can all talk about.

There's no point in adding an arcade (where you can actually play games and stuff). This is a help site.

There is an arcade mod for vB but we don't need it. I think GovTeen has an arcade. if you want to play games go there.

We're probably not going to implement this simply because this is a help site, not a social networking site.
