I've been cutting on my arm properly again since we got a cold front. I live in Florida so I rarely have an excuse to wear jackets/sweaters.

I saw a new case manager last night and she was nice. She was looking into group therapy, and was talking about my low self esteem and was focusing on that. Then she brought up cutting.

"You know if you cut again, your mom will have to call the emergency team and you'll most likely be put in the mental health hospital again."

Ugh, I just couldn't tell her :/ And now I'm afraid to.

hi bethany. i am new here so i dont know much about vt yet but you have 32 rep powers and that at least tells me that you must be an awesome person that cares about others so why not care about yourself and just love you? id love to be your friend and anytime you feel low or feel like hurting yourself maybe we could be friends and we could help each other. you seem so nice. i know that didnt help but i at least care.

First of all, just to put this out there, why would your mother have to do anything? That aside, you just got caught by a bad urge. Has anything major happened that made you want to cut again? Or was it just because you had that excuse?
Either way, you can do it, and you'll get there.
