WTH?

So my parents always tell me that if I'm hungry, I should tell them. For the past few years, I've just waited until they're hungry, even if I'm starving. Today, I decided to say I was hungry, and I was. So we get to the restaurant, eat and I wasn't able to finish all of my food. So then I said what I usually say, which is 'I can't finish.' . They got Pissed at me because I guess I rushed them out of the house, when they wanted to eat at like 7 or something. They said that we left the house, because I was saying I was starving. I was hungry!!! Now I'm in trouble. I know, i'm whining like a little child, but how the hell is that fair. They always tell me to tell them when i'm hungry, and the one time I do, I get in freaking TROUBLE? God, sometimes I think I should just stay in my room until I move out to avoid any conflict...

maybe you can have a healthy snack before the meal like apple or something?
so you won't get in trouble and won't be starving... or you can discuss the option of having dinner a little bit earlier than 7, at 6 for example?
