Okay so my dad just got the iPod Shuffle (4th Generation, 2GB) he won from his workplace (it was bought for him), and I've made sure by researching online that I could put in mp3 files - files that are already stored on my computer, in "Music", into the iPod Shuffle.
Well I plugged in the Shuffle with the USB cable that came along, and I opened the folder. then I dragged in two music files that I especially liked into the iPod Shuffle space or whatever.
then I went to test it out. The two music files apparently never got into the iPod Shuffle, because the music in the Shuffle - I don't know how they got there - were not the ones I wanted. I never put them in there.
What am I doing wrong? Do I really need to use iTunes, after all?
