Apparently my nerd-i-ness just just stepped it up a notch.

But I couldn't resist. Not to mention, it has the more classical/opera feel I've been trained to sing so I pounced on it. >_> I had one wrong/wavery note which is driving me nuts but I just felt like sharing the product of fifteen minutes of boredom and editing.

Oh my god, I love you. :P
My concern if I were to cover it would be being on-pitch, but it just sounded as if it was a different sequence of it. You maintained it's original haunting, hollow sound. I love it!
It's one of my favourites off the soundtrack, minus Cara Mia. :P So of course I find this amazing. It's a very unique idea as well, I see people covering GLaDOS's songs all the time, even a couple covers of Cara Mia, but I don't think I've seen someone try this one before.

I only picked out a part of the song to do rather than the whole thing. >< Part of it repeats anyway and I don't have the breath support to keep going, haha.
This and Cara Mia are my two favourites. A friend and I found SATB Cara Mia sheet music and we're going to try to convince our teacher to use it for SATB choir. That's next on my list of songs to learn. :P
(Also, figured you'd be the first reply on this thread, lol!)

Oh really? How strange of you to think that. ;)

It is rather odd, isn't it? I mean, it's not like you're a huge GLaDOS fan as well or anything. :P
Also, I have a feeling I may be updating this thread in the next few days with a cover of Still Alive seeing as I have the tabs lurking around somewhere. Just need to get my guitar out of a friend's locker. (Or kidnap someone's ukelele.)

Oh, I have the sheet music for that one :P I don't cover songs though, I don't post them at least. I sit at my piano and sing them then I shove them with the rest of my sheet music until I'm interested in passing the time with them again. I'm not creative enough (well, maybe the word I'm looking for is "inventive"), my covers all sound like the original. :P
But I'll check out whatever else you share in this thread. I love covers, when other people do them. :P
