I mean like button up western shirt or plain t-shirt tucked in to either Wranglers, Levis, or Cinch jeans, cowboy boots, buckle, and either a ballcap or stetson hat. It seems to be a normal thing here in Texas. What do y'all think?

I will automatically assume you're a sexist douchebag who's going to be staring at my ass if I walk by in a normal/modest skirt.

You asked. Yes, I realize that may or may not be you, but that will be my first thought. I'm also from PA

I will assume you don't care about what people think.

I also think you ride horsies!

That comment above by allthatyoudreamed actually made me laugh xD
In all reality, if someone were to do so here in my country, 90% would instantly think "....gay". Not that that's a bad thing, of course, I'm gay myself. Still, that's probably what most people would think. Not implying that I would, of course. I do not.

Most sincerely,
Robert.

Cool, just wondering what y'all think. I realize that style of dress is prolly more common in the US (Texas and the Southwest and Midwest) and Canada (like Alberta and Saskatchewan) than anywhere else prolly.

I'd be kind of surprised. We don't have cowboys here, only drunken rednecks. And they just don't wear shirts at all.

I'm from Wyoming. If you don't dress like a cowboy you're not normal. lol

I find it normal as some people up here dress the same way, well, I don't. I'm a "City folk."

I'd think you're a city boy or you're going to church or a party. I'm from Good Ol' Deep East Texas and everyone here dresses like rednecks. It's all camo, camo, camo! The cowboy clothes are reserved for church, weddings, birthdays, funerals, and just about anything that overalls, Dickies, and Carheart aren't appropriate for.

That's pretty much the norm where I live.

I'd probably think the person is conservative and uneducated. There, that's my prejudice, I have no problem admitting it.

As long as they don't go overboard and dress like a "drug store cowboy" then I don't care. I'm originally from Texas but right now I live in Colorado. I wear a pair of boots and jeans because, I have livestock and there are lots of ranches around here.
