Teacher crush -__-

So the title says it all, I'm 16, and a girl with a crush on a female teacher. This isn't me wanting to be with her, I've already accepted nothing will ever happen, however being in her class, talking to her and getting that swoopey stomach feeling is making it hard to focus on A levels. This crush is literally taking up all my time and thoughts and basically does anyone have a good way to deal with crushes? I've got this teacher for this year and the next so it's not like I can rely on not seeing her-I see her pretty much every day. I know how stupid this sounds but it's more than a crush, it's an obsession that I don't know how to handle. Any advice is welcome (:

Two possible idea's to help. One, you could train yourself to think of something you find revolting, i've tested it a few times, it helps a great deal.

Or, a hypnotist could help you. Not sure if you would need parental permission or not. Not entirely sure. But if your going with that option. You've got to be open minded. And willing to be hypnotised

Hah, this is a classic. To make it simple, think: Why do you feel this way, knowing nothing will happen? You're just feeling this way since they're someone with power over you, which is natural. My personal recommendation? Try to get more friends of the gender(s) you're attracted to, and you'll see a little more why you're just caught up with something right now. Hope this helps!

I know how you feel about crushing on a teacher, I had this really hot English teacher, blond, blue eyed, muscular, he was perfect! I used to pretend to be stupid just to get his attention, and I'd be standing there just checking him out, and thinking of us doing certain things! ;) One method I used when I really need to study, or focus in class is that I only looked at my paper, never at the teacher, or I just used my friends to forget about him by taking the class away. Hope this helps! I just love the fact that my school hires really hot teachers! :)

try to concentrate on your studies more. when you have a brainstorm there's no space left in your head for other thoughts.

I had a crush on a teacher once, like you, hard to focus, finally a friend suggested that i imagine them using the restroom, makes the person more "human" and that helped out a lot.

Well, I also kinda have a crush on one of my teachers(gym teacher/basketball) and Im in both. I just try to think about something else. It's really hard.
