Ok, why is it that when I transfer some .avi files onto my ipod to play on my ps3 some files play and some don't, this is the same TV show I have. It tells me "Corrupted Data" ect.

Any help would be appreciated to how I could possibly fix this.

PSP and PS3 seem to be very picky with .avi format videos. You'll have to convert it to MP4 first, I'm afraid.

There are different types of AVI file formats, known as "containers". PS3's and PSP's support the Divx format, hence you will know if its Divx as it will come up with the logo in the corner for about 5 seconds. You might need to use a video converter to tell you the format. I know they DONT support Xvid or H.264

edit: Nope sorry, just realised H.264 is MPG, which YES, is supported by Sony
