Hey guys, I came here for two reasons: to vent and to look for advice. Recently I've become really paranoid about hatred and people who don't like me, so much so that I'm kinda scared to leave certain rooms and situations on case anybody laughs and jokes about me. I know I've had mean comments said about me behind my back, but because I'm not really the type to make a fuss/ stand up for myself, they carry on doing it, even when I'm around, because they know I won't do anything. But now I'm really scared of people secretly hating me, and I know everybody has somebody not like them but it's really upsetting me, and I'm really paranoid. I know it's weird. HELP!!:what::mad:

You've just got to stop worrying about them. No matter what you do in life, some people aren't going to like you. If somebody laughs at you for no reason or are just being an ass hole to you, then you shouldn't be around them.
Anybody who is worth your time will accept you for who you are. You seem like a great person, and you shouldn't care what other people think. Just be yourself and those people who are worth it will accept you.
Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.

Honestly, it's something that either you can force yourself to get over or most of the time it's a matter of age. The older you get, the more you don't give a fuck about really anything that doesn't affect the well-being of you and your family. Experience and age will show you that not everyone can be a fan of you. I have a fixation with pleasing people myself, but I do find this slow but gradual transition into just not giving a fuck. :P

I'm almost exactly like you when it comes to dealing with people like these. I never ever stand up for myself. There's a good thing to ignoring it and turning away, though. And that's when I actually do start flicking people off and asking them to go fuck themselves. Which I have been doing lately. It has a much, much bigger impact when people don't expect such attitude from you.
Tell them to eat shit and die :D
