Does VT accept multi language users as my first language you could say would be Italian and then English, French, Spanish, German and Latin.
So I have this question. Do we allow users to speak there prefered Language or is this a stict english speaking community. Because I know my english is bad when it comes to writting (thats why I sit all my exams in Italian) So can I ask do we allow multi language speakers to speak there prefered language

First of all, I never knew English wasn't your first language. If you didn't tell me, I never would have guessed.
But yes, this is an English-speaking forum. I think you could have a sentence here in there in another language, but definitely not constantly.

Yes, I believe you can do that. But you can't write whole posts in another language (except maybe the arcade in some circumstances, is this right Mods?)

Jo and I have had une petite conversation en français in the last post wins arcade game, but as that is all spam anyway, it doesn't really matter :P
Anyway, while in some nationality-based groups it may be acceptable to use the language(s) of the relevant country/continent, this community is English-speaking (because English speakers are the kind of people who go abroad, talk LOUDLY and sllowwlyy and expect foreigners to speak English :P). It would also be a nightmare to moderate if there were 100 different languages! I don't see a multi-lingual VT coming soon. If it were introduced now, it would be a bloody disaster!

I dare say that English is the majority first language on this site, so really would it not make more sense for those speaking other languages to run the entire site through Google translate if they so wished?

Has nothing to do. This is the iron fist of a fascist government is not stupid idiot. Speaks the language they want. He founded the American hıyartolar this site just because we do not speak English either. I want to talk to the language, the compulsory or advisory ananızın livecam this.

it's not really feasible unfortunately :( there are some language social groups, but for the public forums we don't allow other languages.

Sure, post in Italian. No one would know what you're saying, so it'd be pointless.

It'd be much more efficient for everyone if you just translated your message to English first. That'd save everyone a lot of time. Plus, it's much more efficient.

Generally, no posting in languate OTE is frowned upon. Unless it's a thread designated, or if it's a personal rant in a diary. Sorry.
If it was like, just a sentence laced in I'd personally let that go because, language to make a point is fine IMO.

My first language isn't English either, far from it, but considering English is the only language we all have in common, it seems only logical to post things in English.
Still, I see no problem in people speaking their mother tongue, wherever and whenever, though I'd personally stick to English at all times.
Most sincerely,
Robert.

Um, Latin is a dead language. If you posted an entire thread in Latin, I'd immediately assume spam because no one speaks Latin in conversation... and what century did you grow up in to learn Latin before English?
Sorry, that was begging to be trolled. Moving on since I did have a point to make.

Oui mais je parle français un peu et en lisant un thread entier serait la torture.
AKA: Yeah, we have our spam conversations but most of us would come across posts in another language and unless we knew it was small amounts of spam or something specific, I would not waste my time translating it and then deciphering the translation into proper English.
Sorry, I'd ignore any threads in another language, including French, just because I'm lazy and wouldn't be bothered. I doubt I'm the only one that thinks this way. As much as I love to hear what everyone has to say, it's an English speaking forum and if someone wants to speak who-knows-whatever, they should probably just find another forum.

Même ici, J'aime parler dans différentes langues, mais je serais toujours m'assurer que je mis la traduction en dessous.
Same here, I enjoy speaking in different languages but I would always make sure I put the translation under it.
BUt the fun part is, is that I am French but I do not make it a constant thing to post in it, YAY MORE FIRE!!!!
And Z, why would yu eat your grandmothers underwear when you have carrots, yummmm.
