Well you heard it. The debt is supposed to hit $15 trillion very soon. I posted on here for 2 reasons:

1. To inform the people about it
2. Hear other's opinions on the issue at hand, or possibly any solutions as to what we can do to help the problem.

This thread is not limited to US citizens, other people from other countries can add their 2 cents in.

Here is the link to the national debt clock.

I don't think many people are all that concerned about the debt anyway. Most countries now are in debt anyway thanks to a tanking global economy. Anyone who says that they care about the debt is over their head.

I care because I like to keep track of current events. It's sort of a history nerd thing.

Why can't we just go back to bartering?

this had very high sarcasm.

It's not a history nerd thing. It's not a thing at all. It's just news, that's it. It is not history until it actually happens and is written.

Why can't we just go back to bartering?

this had very high sarcasm.

Because of your bad karma, your Barter skill has decreased permanently by 20 points.

How are all of the countries in debt? Where is all of our money going? The idea baffles me, though its nice to see such a huge number for something in the U.S. ;)

Don't you just love a $15 trill debt that WE get to pay off because of the bureaucratic government we have in D.C.? I know I don't...
