My grandmother and I were arguing about this. Not that I'd be able to go to the doctors, but should I stay home if I have pink eye?
And is there any way to...get rid of it?

YOu need to stay home, pinkeye, conjunctivitis is very contagious!! You need to stay home, call your physician to let them know about it.

Gah, this year has been shitty as far being absent due to some type of sickness...
Any way to solve this without going to the doctor? There really is no way/one to take me right now.

Place a warm compress over you eye and allow it to sit there for about 10 min, to reduce the swelling but you really do need antibiotice from your physician, that is the best and quickest way to go about this.

Try not to touch your eyes because you can spread it to your other eye and you need to keep you hands off and away from your face.

Your school would tell you to go home, and would probably not let you in the classrooms. Have you ever seen a kid come to school with pink eye? Nope.

Yeah, what everyone else's said. Most schools HAVE to send you home if you have pinkeye because of how easily it's spread.

You need to stay home 24 hours after starting antibiotics (true for most bacterial communicable diseases)

Pink eye is very contagious. I always stay home when I get it.
