OK i been looking at this 1999 Honda Civic DX hatchback for 2,600 and its from a trusted Person. It has power steering and AC. It has never been modified and it has all service records. All and all its in pretty good condition but the only thing i am concerned about is that it has 165,000 miles on it. What do you guys think about that? Is it worth it for a car with that many miles?

Yes, I'd buy it. the engine in my 98 Accord has just over 200,000 miles on it and runs like a champ. Most Honda engines are practically indestructible.

it's OK for this car to have 165,000 miles on it.
if it was serviced properly than go for it!

Putting my Honda hatrd (i think i spelled that right D:) i would go for it if you like it. Honda makes some ridiculously reliable engines and you should be able to put another 100,000 miles on that car if it was (and then you continue) to service it properly.

I would buy it. That is a good price. Plus, Honda does make long-lasting engines. Our last one lasted over 300,000 miles I believe. So you should be good for another 100,000 miles if you keep it in good condition.

well, hondas are awesome, that's about 200.000km, so, if you plan changing it in 3-4 years then go ahead, but don't really expect laating 8years with it ;) even if its a trusted person always test it and watch out what may be wrong on it, depending on what it's wrong it can make the car break indirectly

id say its a decent deal my friend has a 1996 honda civic dx it just turned 415,000 miles and is still running strong original motor and transmission he replaced the clutch at like 350,000 miles but as long as its been serviced at the right times and the right services were performed then theres no reason to worry about the mileage on a honda.

just be sure if you do buy it that you keep up on the service of it and it should last you a while longer... my friend beats on his pretty good but never misses a service every 2800-3000 miles.
