Im a freshman i high school and we are about to start swimming. I was wondering, is it true that after swimming we have to take a shower naked or in our trunks? If naked how should I deal with this? Thanks for any help!

Best way to deal with it is to do what the others do. If everybody is showering naked then shower naked. If everybody else is naked and you are wearing something it will draw more attention to you. I've had to shower loads of times in front of a lotta people, and I can tell you that you'll be used to it in no time. Just don't make a big deal out of it and you'll be fine. We all have the same equipment and we all gotta keep it clean! Trust me on this. Worrying will drive you crazy and there just isn't a need for that. Keep your cool, handle your business, get dressed and leave. Do that and you wont have any problems. Good luck!

In one school, we all showered nude, in the other, with trunks on.
Just do what everyone else is doing, and if naked, just act the same as you would with trunks on...

I didn't have to shower at all, but if you have the choice to shower with shorts on keep em on. If everyone goes naked you might as well too.

I had PE at the end of the day so no one really showered... but i'm gonna go with everyone else and say, just do what everyone else is doing, because then it won't seem weird... i remember in my class while everyone else was just changing one guy went to shower and we all thought it was the wierdest thing ever haha, i'm sure if everyone was showering it would have been fine, so yeahh what they all said ^ :P

agreed do what the rest do n if your afraid of gettin a boner i would be to concerned im sure you wont be the only 1 just like anythin else if you dont draw attention to it the others prolly wont mention it n actually if they do n claim your "gay" for gettin a boner point out the fact that must make them gay for lookin at you n noticin....
BUT trust me it DONT mean your gay if you pop a woody its perfectly normal to get hard around other naked people whether boys or girls n gay or straight but trust me im sure if they all shower naked you WONT be the only to get hard... some may even try to get hard so it looks "bigger" cuz lets face it they are bigger hard then soft

some schools require you to take showers after certain sports/activities atleast i know my school does like for instance you cant shower durin the school day like after gym class but if your involved in any team school sports you have the option to shower after practices or games however its mandatory for football, wrestling, basketball n swimming... this is my first year at high school but i know last year in middle school after basketball we all showered naked n it was no big deal i mean its all boys in there when your showerin n not like any of them or yourself has never seen a penis just some are bigger some are smaller then others some are cut some are uncut its not really a huge deal but if your insecure the others will pick up on it so just act normal n you will be all set n like it was mentioned before it may seem or feel awkward the first time but like anythin it will get better as time goes by n im sure by the 3rd time if not the 2nd you wont even think bout it i think your stressin over nothin dude its not worth beatin yourself up over this

Take a shower if everyone else is doing it, most times people take showers naked, including in schools so it's no big deal, everyone else feels the same way about it as you do, and you're just washing up getting the stink off like everybody else. If someone pops a wood, it's normal, it happens, and it's nothing to worry about, a few snide remarks and 5 minutes later it's all forgotten. You'll be fine.

At my school, we shower naked before and after swimming. The first couple of it might feel odd but then you think nothing of it once you see everyone else showering naked.

Well there is really no way to go about it, in my school, in 7th grade, I have swim now and we aren't even forced to shower. After class we can just dry off and get dressed. If we want to, we can shower. And please we never see each others penises lol. Everyone showers in their trunks here.

yea. in most sports at my school we have to take showers afterwards.
including water polo for me. its not a big deal really. we all have a dick and we all need to take a shower and its not a big deal.
oh and people pop boners all the time in there.

You can do what everyone else does if they swim with trunks on or naked. It's whatver you feel comfortable with. Maybe if you shower naked other guys will feel comfortable to take off their trunks and swim naked. I started high school this year and almost all the guys shower naked. There are a few that just change their clothes and its like what the hell. I have seen some guys with boners and some with a semi including me. No one but no one says anything if a guy has a boner. It's natural and we all get one.

I swim and only the people shower who r going somewhere.... And if they are naked it's not weird after a while u get used to it hjudt like wearing a speedo
