It's best to use lube. And don't use Vaseline, and certain lotions (certain ingredients in lotion can irritate/cause a burning sensation on the lining of your anus, to an extent, so be particular or what you choose), unless you don't plan on using a condom. That kind of stuff damages the condom and prevents it from doing it's job. And remember to take it slowly, since it might hurt a lot or a bit at first.

P.S. If you're the "bottom", then make sure you're clean. Like, clean all up "in there". Take some light soap and clean, use an enema, or an anal douche.

I agree........Get the right stuff like KY or Lube. I find that Astroglide works the best for what you need to use it for, it's very slippery, provides excellent moisture and lubrication so you don't hurt yourself. Be prepared.

ok so i read somethin regardin this post n what i was readin said another way along with lube to decrease pain durin this is to try to be as "relaxed" as possible if your tense your muscles down there will try to fight anythin enterin resultin in the "tearin" like pain feel... also it did say you may feel like you have to "poop" but (although not impossible) its unlikely you actually have to its the feelin you get from your anal canal being "full" just with a penis or foreign object instead of your bodies waste so another words when your anal cavity is "full" with anythin it sends a signal to your brain sayin your anal cavity is full n its time to empty it

You can get lube at a lot of Grocery stores, Wal-Mart, drug stores, that type of place. If you dont get actual lube, lotion works just as well.

my advice: use vasaline...its easy to get so most people wont suspect what ur really using it for, and u dont need to use a ton, and its safe for "inside" use. Secondly, I would grab an unused toothbrush and use the handle. Its just a small enough size for a beginner
