Okay so the other day my friend was talking about how she's going to this concert with another friend, and it's Hollywood Undead and Asking Alexandria, with a few other hardcore/screamo/whatever you wanna call um bands. I was like okay, cool, I'd never go, but have fun.
Now her friend can't go and she practically pleaded for me to go with her. I said okay. I mean, I kind of like Hollywood Undead, and I figure I can tolerate the rest of the stuff. I'm not worried about the music.
But the thing is that I don't really like crowds. It's a General admission concert, which obviously means crowds. Big crowds. I've been to plenty of GA concerts but they were for bands like Switchfoot and Anberlin. Not exactly screamo. Seriously, the worst I went to was Adam Lambert but that was only because it was packed.
It's not the crowd I'm worried about as much as the pushing and shoving and general chaos. Crowds are tolerable. Mosh pitting, pushing, screaming crowds? Not so much. So anyway, I'm kind of looking for some advice on the best thing to do if I'm not really into the whole mosh pit craziness thing. Do they have scattered seating at concerts like that? They have at the other GA concerts I've been to, but they were smaller ones.
So basically my question is, do you think I can handle it? And what's it really like? Oh, and what should I wear?
