Anything better than fraps

So i have been using fraps for a long while but i need something better my main problems are with new games like Deus ex hrl and space marine generaly new games.Fps seems to drop badly.So anything better thats free or costs money

1. get a better PC

2. Install fraps and record to a second hardrive.

Well I don't think you can get anything better than Fraps but I use Camtasia Studio and for me it's a lot easier on my computer.

Camtasia works well for desktop recording but i dont think itd help much for full screen game recording.

In response to the post, you could always try hypercam (not the free version, just torrent the full thing) cause my laptop doesn't have much ram i havent really been able to test the differences between them but im sure you could give it a go.
