View Full Version : Ideas for a tattoo design based on this idea? Also is it weird for me to get it?

I want to get a tattoo design symbolising bisexuality, not because I am, even though that's true and I'm proud of it, but because I support all my gay and lesbian friends and I love the idea of getting a tiny tattoo on my wrist incorporating these symbols: ♂ ♀ in such a way as to show that a female can love both genders.

I kind of like the ♂♀♀ linked design, but that could be viewed as, like.. three people together. o__o
Any other ideas?

Also, I've never been with a girl as I'm very selective with women, but I've liked several and even fallen for one before.. I know I'm bi, I just don't know how people who have actual physical evidence of their sexuality would feel about me parading around with something like this..

Ps, I am AWARE of how much this sounds like attention seeking, but being 19 I like to think I'm above that sort of thing. Plus.. it's the smallest tattoo I've ever wanted, and as my first it seems appropriate.

Thoughts and opinions much appreciated!

It doesn't really involve the gender signs or anything, but you could get an equals sign for equality? That's really the only thing I could think of, since I know a few people who have gotten that done for pretty much the same reason as you

That's it! That's the one I found two days ago, I saw it and fell in love immediately! :wub:


Do you have any ideas on how to incorporate those colours into it whilst leaving the symbol itself black? I've been thinking I'd like the colours on it somewhere, but not the main part. As it's going on my wrist, black would look much better than the lighter pink/purple/blue... =)

I quite like this one, it's the same but it has the pink purple blue triangle on it too.
