Texting girls who are friends

Im writing from my phone so I'm gonna keep it short but I can always add more info if needed later.

I just have questions about what guys text girls who are friends. My friends are always texting girls all the time. They are just friends with these girls and some of the girls have boyfriends.

I someone who never really texted much but want to start talking with girls more,

I don't too much anymore, but for the most part, they do it for entertainment. But once you start texting them, just have a casual conversation. Nothing crazy, just talking and stuff. Life, school, music, and other random interests. Don't overthink it, lol.

I take it the same as texting any guy... nothing over the top. They're not likely texting them about sex or anything of that matter 24/7, especially if they're dating someone else.

If you want to text girls more, you need to be friends with them first. Afterward, they'll give you their number and you'll be texting up a storm.

if it's a normal friend then if anything it's info or questions and stuff, like "where are we meeting for the movie?" but if its like a really close girl friend then i get a little flirty, not like i'd ever do anything but i jokingly tease and make sarcastic jokes

Just talk to them like you'd talk to a bloke, such as "Hey, what's up?" and "You doing okay?". Try to avoid hot topics such the obvious; sex, relationships and things along those lines, unless they bring it up first. Just be casual, if you get what I mean, and friendly.
