It's about death and mortality. I suppose, how people always think about when they will die. The lyrics do not rhyme in some places and that's on purpose, just so you know and the "#" is for choruses.
Time is a predator that stalks us all our lives
The mystery behind it is unseen by the eye
The everlasting life that we thrive
Is all within the mind
When the time comes and death is near
The future is all that we fear
The image of no reality
And once it comes are we truly free
