No one notices me

I could carve up my whole body, I bet, and still no one will give me a second look. No one cares about me. No one notices me.

We had a Halloween party at my house. My sister invited around six friends. My brothers each invited four. I had no one to invite. No one would come.

None of my posts on Facebook get so much as a 'like.' If I'm lucky, my grandparents that I hardly know will 'like' my status.

At school, I'm always sitting by myself. None of my 'friends' even bother to try to keep me company.

I feel so invisible.

I'm sorry, lady. I know how that feels, but it will get better. I hate that term, but it's true, especially since you are just in High School right now.

Once you graduate, and move past that horrible "Clique" crap that High School forces on you, everything will appear a lot better. College/Uni is something of a change. There's not as much of a problem with it. You're someone new, in a world of someone news, and everyones just new to each other. No one can really judge you, because they haven't been going to school with you so long. You'll be able to make new friends (Friends who won't be jerks and leave you alone like that).

As for FaceBook, what you post on there can be a good factor. People seem to use FaceBook to post everything, like things like "God I hate my life." Which is just not something you post on the internet. I recommend you just don't post. It has no effect on your life, and is not really worth the trouble. It just causes more problems.

And obviously, I care. And there are people who care, you just aren't paying attention, simply because you're blinded by these feelings. So lets work on cheering you up, little lady! :) PM me if you ever need to talk. I'm always here.

lexi you gave a good answer and i think your awesome for caring like that. i read stories on here and some of them break my heart because so many people feel so alone and dont realize how beautiful they are inside. i write that because i have felt like megan does and i know how it feels to be different or not accepted or not like you said one of those clicks but megan you are important and try to do what i do and only think about the future when we are grown up and free and we can be whatever we want to be and never have to go to school no more and be around the creeps. i care about you megan

Eh this can happen alot if your in a class with new peps it's hard to get along. It's fine that fine if no one likes your status. Think if u killed urself or harmed how much people would this affect. Let's just say ur family and cousins and other people. this should not put u in the dumps. Just keep trying to be more social

I know that feeling. It could help if you pick up some interesting or exotic hobby. That will make you feel better and you will make friends with people with same hobby, and probably your classmates will value you more.
