I think a number of people here have done that. However, I hope you don't act on those urges. It isn't fucked up, it's usually a cry for help. Do you have anybody that you can talk to about things that are upsetting you?

^ Indeed, I've done that. It's a way of release honestly. To tack onto the above, I'd try and find somebody to talk to, and if you trust that person well enough, show them the suicide notes, but let that be the end of it. Ultimately it's unhealthy to be filling your head with frequent thoughts of suicide, however likely or unlikely it is to really happen.
Whenever you start feeling like that again though, rather than rehearsing how you'll go out, simply reflect on your feelings at the time instead. Keep a journal and try to get into the habit of jotting down whenever you go through one of these episodes.

I guess its better than actually going through with it, like writing in a diary when you are upset.

I've written a formal will on multiple occasions. Never a suicide note, but I think it's almost very similar. Maybe it's just the anxiety, making sure everything important will go to who it should be left to. But it's almost a comfort, you know? Like a premature suicide note could be.

I have done this several times, its comforting for me. Telling people how i really feel, sometimes its just good to write it all out.

I used to fantasise about my own death, especially people's reactions. It sounds a bit sick, but sometimes I lay awake at night imagining how I'm going to carve myself up, mutilate my arms, chop off fingers, stick a knife down my throat, shiz like that. I never actually wrote a suicide note, though.
I think a lot of us want to die because we want to know that people will care and suffer after we're gone. But why? You won't be around to see it. And maybe in the future, you'll find someone or something to live for. You only have one shot at this. You have this life to do whatever you want to.
