messages moderated

whenever someone sends me a vm and i answer it my reply shows up but over top of it it says something like message moderated and i dont know what that means. am i doing sumthing wrong? i amost have 100 posts but it took me since august to get them and i never thought id get 100.

Until you reach 250 posts, any VM you send must be approved by moderators before it may be seen. This also applies to photo comments. Don't worry; it'll stop when you reach 250. It's to help prevent spam and inappropriate use of the VM system.

Yeah this is the deal. We approve all VMs up until that point

i think i been here since august so that is almost 4 months but i only just now got 100 posts so i guess that means that i have to do 150 more posts or do the 4 months count?
anyways thanks for your answers and sorry for asking so many questions but i thought i was doing something wrong.
