Who here likes the Matrix series?

My thoughts exactly.
The first was a masterpiece. It literally changed the genre.

The second was cool. The fight and chase scenes oozed money and the distorted-physics-style special effects were new. Plot was a little lacking, but hey, there were explosions. Neo's character was brought back well, and in my opinion this is the largest factor helping the film to not be a disaster.

Even though I have the DVD, the only thing I remember about the third was the fight scene with thousands of Agent Smiths at the end. Which was pretty silly. I think by this point in time, the series had become to centered around what happened outside of the matrix (with Zion and the machines and all that jazz). And let's be honest... no one really cares about that, do they?

'The one' got so repetitive I felt like they were throwing shit at my face for the fun of it. That qualm aside I like the first film and haven't seen any of the others.

Eh, it's too close to call. I admit Smith is badass but he was just a program gone haywire lol. Neo was an actual person hacking the matrix with his mind.

The Matrix trilogy is one of my most favorite trilogies ever. The first one was Ok, the second one was OK, and the third one was...OK. I haven't seen them in a while. But yeah, side note: not only does the person who plays agent smith play in V for vendetta, he voices Megatron in all three Transformers movies.

anyway I've always thought of the 2nd part as the best one, and people like the 1st movie better, well yes, it's stunning but mainly because the whole idea was represented there

matrix is the best i dont like how they killed off trinity i understand neo's death the reason they dystroyed him was becuase neo and smith were opposites so they cancel each other out in the end morphis is the only livin out of the ones that wre in all three movies as far as the movies them selfs i liked the thie second one i liked the end to the first one the best its awesome

Me and my dad both like the series. I like the fight scenes with Neo and Seraph, all the agents after Neo is done talking to the Oracle and the final fight in the 3rd movie.

The first one was great and the second and third ones were good too. I liked the third one more than the second, however the ending was a little bit disappointing. The two console games were okay aswell.

I loved the trilogy. I especially loved Hugo Weaving in the movies.
Who, by the way, was also -brilliant- in Captain America: The First Avenger.
And, of course, he was equally brilliant as Lord Elrond ^_^
