What is your coming out story?

So, this has probably been asked countless times but I am quite curious... What is your coming out story and how did people react?

a friend of mine kind of found out i liked a really close friend, and since i really wanted someone to know i was feeling that, i told him that it was true. so he reacted really well since he knows alot of this stuff, and after telling one person for the first time, it felt like it was easy to tell more people, so i told my best friend and then other friends :)
but my family still dosent know, ill tell them later.

Lol, it was boring. I just told everyone. There's really very little story to it. I knew right out of the gate (well, took me less than two years to later figure out I wasn't much of a bisexual) and everyone was completely fine with it. And everyone I didn't tell I just didn't hold it back. I wouldn't act straight, and if they asked about relationship status, I sure as hell wouldn't take the "Do you have a boyfriend?" shit. In my personal life, I have a sort of 'don't ask, don't tell' way of going about it. I don't introduce myself as a lesbian, but if you ask about it, you're going to hear the truth.

i just told a really close friend then when he was okay with it i just opened up to someone who i knew would tell everyone.

I saw a friend's, who I liked, relationship interest on Facebook; it said Men and Women so I asked him if it was true, he said yes, I asked "what if I was too?" and he responded well. I've really only told my best friend and my other good friend who was on FB.
