So, I might be having an interview for a job at Gamestop, and me never having a job or being to an interview before, am nervous. I'm not sure what to expect and I'm horrible at answering questions under pressure. And I'm especially bad at the oh-so-popular question, "Why should we choose you?" Does anybody have any advice? Because I'm considering just throwing away my application.

it's something you've just got to get done bro. and in my experience, it's not so bad when you're actually there and you have to do it.
Just relax, be confident - read up on the internet about tips and watch some job interview mock ups on youtube. they're not going to try to pick you apart as potentially these are the people that will be working with you - they just want to know if you're the right candidate so it's your job to show them you are :)

Kiddo, interviews are easy-breezy, if you go in confident. Get yourself mentally prepared. Tell yourself, "I want this job! I WANT THIS JOB! I CAN HAVE THIS JOB!" Get pumped up, listen to some good music a while before you leave to go to the interview, and get yourself feeling ready to go into anything. I recommend reviewing some common interview questions, as well, and practice answering them in the mirror.
• What are your long-range goals and objectives for the next seven to ten years?
• What are your short-range goals and objectives for the next one to three years?
• What are the most important rewards you expect in your job?
• What are your strengths, weaknesses, and interests?
• How do you think a friend or professor who knows you well would describe you?
• Describe a situation in which you had to work with a difficult person (another student, co-worker, customer, supervisor, etc.). How did you handle the situation? Is there anything you would have done differently in hindsight?
• What have you learned from participation in extracurricular activities?
• In what kind of work environment are you most comfortable?
• How do you work under pressure?
• Describe a situation in which you worked as part of a team. What role did you take on? What went well and what didn't?
Those are only some questions you COULD be asked. Remember to walk in there with your head held high, have a firm hand shake, and dress accordingly. Since it's Gamestop, dress casual. This is something you have to do a few times in your life, and if your lucky you won't have to do it that often.
Good luck!!

Confidence is everything with job interviews! Speak strongly, don't shy away and you should be fine. Good luck :)

Everything said above is gold, follow it all :) Just remember to get to the place 15 minutes early, and if you are running late, be sure to call them and let them know. Greet the people with a smile and a firm handshake.
You can do it, just be confident, and anything is possible if your committed to it. :)
