VTeenMD?

i thought that this could be a good idea...

VTeenMD- a virtual teen forum that holds questions of medical stature.

it will also encourage to always know that we arent professionals, and that the best decision is to go to a doctor.


i thought that this would be a good idea because many teens including myself experience medical problems, and instead of spending money going to the doctor, or sometimes the embarrassment, their questions/problems can be helped on by others who have had similar things happen to them.

Alex, PM me please whether you think that this idea is good or not, because maybe we could work on it together or something.

If anyone else also agrees or disagrees, feel free to post a comment about this.

Ok I know this is old, but I want to make a suggestion and I wanted to refer to this.

Right now the VT General Hospital description sucks. It's obviously not very clear it's a health discussion forum. I think a forum description change would be good because right now the forum isn't really being used to its full advantage.

So Zach and I have come up with:

VT's health forum - Discuss all health related questions and concerns here.

I think that's a lot more clearer than "Using the worlds of Conventional and Alternative Medicine to heal what plagues you."

The description it has now isn't very clear and is kinda outdated. Plus we should bring more attention to it so it'll be used more, and this is a good start! :D

Agreed. I also think "Weight Issues" Should be added back to the Eating Disorders Forum. But questions like that could also go in the GH.

The reason it had a description as such was because it was first founded as a member forum, then it was moved to the Psychiatric Ward because it was so popular. Honestly, I'd rather move away from using descriptions like "post this sort of topic here!" because that's not entirely creative. I'm not saying that description is bad, but I'd like something different from the norm.. :|

I don't think it does :P I think we could use something that makes it a lot more clear, and all threads that are related to health should be moved to the Genereal Hospital reguardless of how much more traffic it'll get in Puberty101 :santa:
