Shy Couple Progress

Well I've known this girl for about a year now and we have known we like each other for about 6 months. It is only recently that we started holding hands, talking a lot more, and going out more to things like dances. Both of us are both pretty shy -_-. Our first date we barely said anything even though it was a double date. So it was only 2 days ago that i was able to just kiss her on the cheek while we were dancing at Homecoming. I kinda feel that im taking it too slow :(. Am I?

Just take it at a comfortable speed. Every couple is different. Don't compare yourself to other couples, just enjoy each other and let the relationship progress without pushing it. (: If you're comfortable with each other as it is, there's no reason to fix something that isn't broken. (: Many people try to speed through relationships like it's a game. They race to every milestone and in the end it works against the natural workings of their relationship.
