I'm going to throw this out here. Modern Warfare 3 is using the same engine as Modern Warfare 2. It even looks exactly the same. All it is is a glorified expansion pack. Now, look at Battlefield 3. Even if you compare it to Bad Company 2 (which would be silly), it still is completely different. It is just the superior game. Frostbite 2 has set the precedent for any first person shooter. Destructible environments is the way to go. Call of Duty has been the same since World at War.

BF3 is going to be a more precise, tactical, fun game. MW3 will be yet another COD where you just use it either to get really pissed off, or to let off some steam. BF3 will be far superior, IMHO. Got both on preorder and plan on buying both though.

If you say COD is going to be better, just face it. Like Jake said, Mw3 will use the same engine as MW2. As per BF3, it will still use Destruction 2.0 stuff but the online was completely revamped by DICE. Although I'm not into these FPS games anymore, I can definitely tell you Bf3 is going to be better. MW3 will just turn into a bunch of 10 year olds with headsets.

If you're a REAL gamer, BF3 is the way to go.

Wrong, COD4 used the Quake 3 engine, COD5 used an adapted version called TRY, MW2 Used an engine called IW4 along with Black ops, MW3 ha IW5. Based off the Quake engine but superior

MW3 may or may not be using a diffirent engine i dunno and dont care.

To me what counts is the quality of the game and whats in it.

This new game mw3 is diffirent by whats being added sure it may look the same but content is diffirent and because of this I dont give a flying fuck.

BF3 looks good and I will get it at XMAS time.

Both games are good and I think saying whitch one is better or not is a waste of time and energy. Why must we care what a game looks like if its the quality of the game. Chirist it could be the same as MW2 but with all the new shit in it and I still would play it.

At the end of the day this debate is old and pointless it has been brought up before and end up with very little conclusion

Halo is fun because its more skill based.
CoD used to be fun but it hasn't changed and the majority of the fan base are stupidly bad to say how much they play and are just generally immature.
I'm hoping BF3 will be good it looks epic and i LOVED the beta. going to the midnight release tonight.
I've seen Total Biscuit's WTF of BF3 campaign and i must say it looks REALLY boring but honestly who cares about campaign anymore.

Yes, I dislike zombies. I find it to be absolutely overdone in movies, books, TV, and video games. Games like Dead Rising and Doom are what zombie games should be. Whenever I see zombies in a Call of Duty game, it's so corny that I can't even take the series seriously any more. And a "survival" mode doesn't make it any better. It's the same shit with a different name.

When will people not learn this? Giving the same book a different cover does not make it a different book. I could put an elf on the cover of "The Catcher in the Rye", but would that make the book better? No.

This isn't actually thread related but I want to know if you guys have recognised this:

In every new Call of Duty game Treyarch's making, there is something new. In WaW they had this Nazi zombies which shook the gaming world. In Black Ops they added this brand new emblem system and CoDPoints, and more zombies.

Infinity Ward does nothing but repeating the same games and adding a new singleplayer scenario.
