How do I get him to like me??

Ok Ive had a crush on this guy named Eric since I was in 7th grade, now Im in 9th grade and hes in 10th. He only went to my school for about half a year when I was in 7th grade. We go to the same church but im always too shy to talk to him there. last year i went on a mission trip and he was there and we talked some. i also got to hold his hand when we prayed (we were in a prayer circle)! when i was in middle school i didnt wanna ask him out cuz this girl had a crush on him and everyone picked on her cuz she liked him. now im in 9th grade and the first day of school i sat with this girl named Lizzy and her friends that are potheads. i later found out eric is a pothead. well i still like him and this year i wanna ask him out because im not as shy and ive gotten prettier and no one from my middle school goes to my high school. Tonight I went to my church's bonfire and he was there. I talked to him a little but was really shy. He told me to hand him a marshmellow cause he was gonna show me the perfect marshmallow and he toasted it in the fire and them he was like this is for you and I was like thanks! And then I noticed he kept looking at me and when I looked at him he looked away.

Well, you can't change his emotions, you just have to keep your hopes up :)

Well, not being there I can't say for sure but there is a chance that he is interested in you as well. You really shouldn't put on a facade to make him like you. Just be yourself and try talking to him more.

Now for my opinion on the matter. I believe that people this age shouldn't be dating in the first place because it almost never works out. People wind up hurt and often have a hard time coping with it. If this is what you want, make sure you are prepared to be torn to pieces down the road.
